Local-first records

The current CowBoyUp app stores livestock and ranch records on the user’s device. Morris Lane LLC does not receive those local records through the current app unless the user separately sends information for support, or another future service is enabled and disclosed.

Information users may store in the app

• Animal identity details, names, tag numbers, notes, and photos
• Health, treatment, breeding, travel, expense, and revenue records
• Document and image references the user chooses to add
• Optional places (pastures, pens, lots) the user creates
• Offline ranch guidance chat history and app settings
• Location details only when the user chooses GPS or map-related features

Device permissions

• Camera — when a user chooses to capture an animal, document, or ranch image
• Photo library — when a user chooses to attach an existing image
• Location — when a user chooses GPS or map-related workflows

What CowBoyUp does not do in the current release

• No third-party advertising tracking by Morris Lane LLC
• No sale of personal data
• Optional web account for plan management and Stripe billing at cowboyup.app
• Mobile app remains usable local-first; Standard tier allows up to 7 animals
• Web Pro subscriptions billed via Stripe; iOS Pro via Apple IAP when configured
• No developer collection of local livestock records in the current local-only release

Support and deletion

Users can delete CowBoyUp app data from inside the app where controls are provided, or by removing the app from the device. For support or help with local data deletion, contact [email protected].

Future services

Web accounts and Stripe subscriptions are available at cowboyup.app for plan management. Livestock records remain local-first on device. If cloud sync of ranch records or additional processing is enabled later, this policy and App Store privacy disclosures will be updated first.
